These live on the task details panel (Tasks).
Comments
Type in the comment box and save. Edit or delete your comments where the UI offers it.
A new comment can notify assignees and watchers by email (template slug new_comment) and in-app / Slack if those channels are on. Mail goes out immediately or via the queue.
Optional: AI suggest comment drafts a reply from the task context (AI in the product).
Attachments
Upload from the task panel. Allowed extensions are the list on Settings → Global (not a hidden PHP-only list).
You can open, download, or delete (permanent).
Optional: Summarize attachment (AI) for supported files when AI is enabled.
Cover image
Pick an attachment as the cover. It shows on the board card and at the top of the details panel. Remove cover without deleting the file unless you also delete the attachment.
File size
PHP upload_max_filesize / post_max_size cap uploads. Raise them on the host if large files fail before ProTask validates the type.
