Terms of Service

The rules for using this store: licensed products, Stripe checkout, wallet credit, refunds, and custom development quotes.

Last updated August 18, 2026

Using this store

These terms govern Softentra — the catalog of licensed web applications, checkout, your account, and custom work requested through Request a quote. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.

Marketplace products are licensed software you download after payment. Custom development is scoped separately and is not a packaged product from the catalog.

Accounts

You need an account to check out, download files, activate a license, open a ticket, or leave a review. You are responsible for that account’s password and for optional two-factor authentication if you turn it on.

Notify us immediately if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account that is used to circumvent license limits or abuse checkout, tickets, or forms.

You can delete an account that has no orders or licenses from Profile. Accounts with purchase history cannot be deleted from self-service — contact us if you want login closed. We keep order and license records so downloads and refunds stay valid.

Licenses

Each catalog product is licensed, not sold. The grant is the one shown on the product page at the time you buy:

  • Regular license — one live domain you operate, plus the activation limit shown on that product (usually one live activation).
  • Extended license — where the product offers it, for work you deliver to your own clients. If a product has no Extended price, that option is not available.

Activate and deactivate domains from Account → Licenses, or through the license API the installed product may call. Reaching the activation cap means you must free a slot before adding another domain. Circumventing activation or sharing a key as if it were an unlimited license is a breach of these terms.

You receive a license to use the software as described — not ownership of our copyright, trademarks, or source as a work-for-hire, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Support and updates

Each product includes a support window — the number of months shown on the product page — of updates and support from the purchase date. When that window ends, your license to use what you already downloaded remains; new updates and ticket support for that product require a support renewal if the product offers one.

Open tickets from your account. We also publish documentation, a knowledge base, and an FAQ. Support covers the licensed product as delivered — not unrelated custom work unless we have agreed that separately.

Payment, coupons, and wallet

Prices are the amounts shown at checkout, in the currency displayed there. We do not add a separate tax line at checkout; you are responsible for any tax that applies in your location.

You can pay with:

  • Stripe — cards on Stripe’s checkout.
  • Wallet — store credit on your account, applied at checkout or used to complete an order (or support renewal) when the balance covers the amount due.

Coupons, if you have a valid code, reduce the cart according to that coupon’s rules (expiry, minimum subtotal, redemption limit). Wallet credit and coupons can combine; the amount due is what remains after both.

When payment succeeds, the order is marked paid, licenses are issued, and the cart is cleared. Until then, a pending order is not a completed purchase.

Refunds

A paid order unlocks a digital download and a license key immediately, so we do not offer an automatic money-back guarantee. Refunds are decided case by case — typically if the product is materially not as described, or you have not activated the license and you ask promptly.

Request a refund from a support ticket or Contact. If we refund:

  • The original Stripe charge is refunded through that gateway.
  • Any wallet portion of the order is credited back to your wallet.
  • Licenses on that order (or the refunded items) are revoked, and downloads for those items stop.

Partial refunds may apply to a single item in a multi-product order. Custom development deposits and invoices follow the written estimate for that engagement, not this marketplace refund practice.

Custom development

Quote requests are inquiries, not orders. A budget range on the form is a qualifying signal — not a fixed price. We reply with a written estimate. Work starts only after we both agree scope, timeline, and cost.

Those engagements are billed separately from catalog licenses. Nothing in a marketplace purchase obliges us to build custom features for that product unless we have agreed in writing.

Reviews

You may leave one review per product on your account. Reviews must be about your genuine experience. We may hide or remove reviews that are abusive, spam, or unrelated to the product. Public reviews show your display name.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site to break the law, infringe others’ rights, scrape or attack the service, or bypass license activation, download signing, or payment. You may not resell a Regular license as if it were Extended, or treat a single key as unlimited seats beyond the activation cap shown at purchase.

Liability

Catalog products are provided as licensed digital goods. Each product page lists requirements and, where we have one, a demo. We do not warrant that a product will fit every stack, host, or business process.

To the extent permitted by law, Softentra’s liability for a marketplace purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data on your servers, or indirect damages arising from your use of a downloaded product.

Softentra sells to customers worldwide. These terms are written in English. Nothing here limits consumer rights you may have under the laws of the country where you live. If a dispute cannot be resolved through support, it will be handled under the laws of our principal place of business, without affecting those rights.

If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still apply.

We may update these terms as the store changes. Continued use after the date at the top of this page means you accept the updated terms. Questions: Contact.
