ProfileSuite checks a CodeCanyon purchase code via Softentra during install and at runtime when the license is missing.
During install

After install
- Admin → Settings → License (
/admin/settings/license) — view status, deactivate. - If there is no license, you are redirected to
/license/activate. - Successful activation clears cache and sends you to
/admin.
Deactivate
Use deactivate before moving the install to a new domain if the vendor policy requires a free slot. Then activate again on the new URL.
Failures
| Message / symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| Invalid purchase code | Copy from CodeCanyon → Downloads → license certificate |
| Already used | Deactivate on the old site or contact support |
| Network / timeout | Server must allow outbound HTTPS; no blocked allow_url_fopen / curl |
| Prompt after upgrade | Re-enter the code once; then clear caches |
Keep APP_URL equal to the public site URL you activated.
