The first time an Owner or Admin logs into a brand-new tenant, they're redirected to /onboarding instead of the dashboard — a short, three-step, skippable setup flow. Every other role goes straight to the dashboard as normal; this only ever intercepts the person who could actually complete the steps.
This only applies to tenants created after this feature shipped — existing tenants aren't retroactively sent through it.
1. Welcome
A summary of what was just set up (business name, base currency, locale) and a single "Get Started" button.
2. Branding
Upload a logo and pick a brand color. Both are optional — "Skip" moves on without setting either. Whatever you set here (or later from Settings → Organization, which has the exact same fields) applies immediately across the whole app: the logo replaces the default icon in the sidebar, and the brand color becomes the accent color for buttons and highlights.
3. Team
Add teammates right away — name, email, password, and role — using the same form as the permanent Settings → Team page. Add as many as you like, or skip straight to finishing with none. You can always add more people later from Settings → Team once onboarding is done.
Clicking Finish marks onboarding complete and lands on the dashboard. There's no way to "restart" onboarding once finished — revisit Settings → Organization and Settings → Team individually if you need to change branding or add more people afterward.
